There is probably an investor to match every opportunity. In a lot of cases that will be the family, friends and fools that typically roll the dice in the startup world.

The people I deal with don't roll the dice. The risks they take are educated and informed to both mitigate the potential downside and increase the success of every venture they get involved with.

Like you they want to make more money and reduce stress and concern. Show them how your venture can do that and you remove a primary barrier to successfully attracting investment.

It's not always going to match

If you approach me because you want to find private equity investors for your business and you get rejected, it doesn't mean your venture isn't good or isn't good enough. It is simply not a good match for the types of investments I and the people I work with are interested in. At least not right now!

Keep looking, learn from every experience and fine tune your pitch. Stay focused and you'll be able to find the person, group or company that has an appetite for what you're offering.

For the record!

I am a guy with a long standing history in the PE/VC space internationally. A little older than the average financial services professional or broker you may encounter, and a little more old school.

Over the years I've fostered relationships with UHNW individuals and families, and continue to create and develop new relationships with private equity investors globally.

My role is predominantly that of a matchmaker, finding suitable investment opportunities for people who prefer to have their money work for them. Occasionally I may participate in a principal role.

I am neither a licensed broker nor licensed financial services professional of any kind in any country.
